After forging my career in agency and in-house teams, I could tell you that I’ve worked with plenty of businesses like yours. But that’s not true. There are no businesses like yours. Your business is unique because of you and that’s why you deserve custom-made strategies that are tailored to where you want to go and exactly how you want your business to look.

That’s where I come in.

I’m a storyteller at heart and spent my formative years in dusty archives working on my history degree. After falling into social media management for my university women’s committee and a few internships here and there, I discovered the power of engaging narratives in connecting brands and their ideal customers.

Since then, I’ve worked with some incredible clients who are all doing their best to make the world a little bit better through their small businesses, crafting products and services with care and intention to leave a positive impact on their customers.

Looking for my “official” CV? Head on over to LinkedIn.

When I’m not working, I’m often found in my very fetching Dora The Explorer outfit (see delightful example above) while hugely embarrassing my family by geeking out over something historical. Either that or working on my novel that’s been a good decade in the making. Will I finish it before I’m old and grey? Very unlikely. I also have an unhealthy love for all things cheesy, of both the edible and metaphorical varieties, and would never say no to a cup of tea with a custard cream (or five) on the side.

In case that wasn’t enough insight into who I am…

1

I met my husband when I was 16 on an online forum for a heavy metal band that we both liked. After nearly five years of 3,500+ miles distance between us, I moved to the USA from London in 2014 and we got married 3 weeks later. I’m the Harry to his Meghan, the Emily Blunt to his John Krasinski. We wouldn’t have it any other way.

2

Despite being a lifelong dog person, I’ve found myself as a fur mum to two cats, Muffin and Toast. They’re sisters but about as opposite in looks & personality as you could get. Now I can’t imagine life without them, even when they cover my entire house with vacuum-dodging, sneeze-inducing cat hair.

3

I’m an ISFJ, a 1w9 on the Enneagram and a proud Hufflepuff. I’d love to be a perpetual student and recently received my MA in Digital Marketing & Data Analytics in 2021. I still dream about getting my PhD in Tudor History and my skeleton being found surrounded by shelves of dusty old books.

My friends lovingly call me “the perpetual 90-year-old”. My brain stops working after about 8 p.m. and you can usually find me curled up on the sofa with a book or Parks & Rec re-runs most nights. Or The Gilmore Girls. And occassionally, let’s be honest, a horror movie that will keep me awake all night long.

I’m a firm believer in giving back in ways that are meaningful and sustainable. That’s why I donate a portion of my annual profit to causes that matter to me. This year, I’m supporting:

Choose Love does whatever it takes to provide refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving search and rescue boats to food and legal advice. They elevate the voices and visibility of refugees and galvanise public support for agile community organisations providing vital support to refugees along migration routes globally.

Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), a global NGO that works in conflict zones and countries impacted by endemic diseases to provide both emergency and routine medical treatment. MSF emphasise independence and impartiality in their work in order to provide accessible care across national borders, “irrespective of race, religion, politics or economic factors”.

Color of Change is the largest online racial justice organisation in the United States, aiming to move decision-makers in corporations and governments to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America. They challenge injustice, hold leaders accountable and advance solutions for racial justice that can transform the world. Their work centres around criminal justice reform, ensuring accurate and diverse representation of Black people in media, expanding voter access, protecting net neutrality, and fighting for equitable treatment for Black employees.

The National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center is a Native-led nonprofit dedicated to ending violence against Indigenous women and children. They provide training, culturally-grounded resources, and policy development assistance to Indigenous nations throughout the United States.

Do you love a bit of Insta-scrolling as much as I do?

I’ll see you over there!
